“I’m going to make everything around me beautiful, that will be my life.”

— Elsie de Wolfe

About the Founder

A few years ago, while walking along the beach in Costa Rica, I heard something clearly, “treat food as medicine’.

At that time, I was living at a retreat center where each day was anchored by simple, beautiful, nourishing vegan meals. Food wasn’t rushed or complicated - it was intentional… and you could feel the difference.

How Food Became Healing For Me

Later, during a winter in Wisconsin, I found myself cooking for my mom - vegan meals, raw desserts, simple dishes made with care. To my surprise, she loved them! What started as something small became a way we connected.

The following winter, while house-sitting and doing deep inner work, something awakened in me that had been dormant for a long time. I began cooking and baking almost instinctively - sharing food with neighbors, friends, even making treats for the dogs I was caring for. It felt natural. Familiar. like returning to something I had always known.

I thought back to my mid-20’s in Portland, when I first discovered yoga and plant-based living - walking to class each day, then coming home to experiment in the kitchen, feeding the people around me.

Food has always been there as a quiet thread - a way to create, to care, and connect.

While I identify as many things - writer, intuitive, empath - High Vibe Provisions is where it all comes together. It’s about treating food as medicine, yes - but also about using my hands to create something beautiful, and offering that to others in a tangible way.

I think often of a moment with my mom after an orchestra one night. We were talking about something as simple curtains, and I suggested a quick, practical solution. She stopped me and said, “Oh absolutely not.”

I laughed and said, “you really love beautiful things don’t you?”

She looked at me and said, “Yes, honey, I do.”

That stayed with me.

This work is, in many ways, in honor of that - beauty, nourishment, and creation.

I hope it feeds you.

With love,

Leah
